Convergence: A Multidisciplinary Dialogue on Music

The Temporal Dynamics of Learning Center and the Department of Music at UC San Diego, in collaboration with Mainly Mozart's Mozart & the Mind presented:

Convergence: A Multidisciplinary Dialogue on Music (May 18, 2014)

A unique symposium that brought together multiple streams of music research and knowledge, Convergence was not only a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue but also an opportunity for collaboration. Neuroscientists, psychologists, cognitive scientists, musicologists, ethnomusicologists, composers, performers, and music therapists participated in a series of panel discussions moderated by music researchers from the Temporal Dynamics of Learning Center. This multidisciplinary dialogue extended into an evening poster session.
